The surgery set CAMLOG®/CONELOG® SCREW-LINE contains the surgical instruments needed for implant bed preparation and insertion of CAMLOG® and CONELOG® SCREW-LINE implants. The torque wrench, holding key for insertion post and screwdriver, hex, are also included for fixation of the prosthetic components.
The drills are arranged in the cassette according to the treatment process and color-coded and sorted according the implant diameter. Color lines on the tray mark the exact sequence of the use of the drills. According to the length of the implant, the pilot drill with attached depth stop is used to drill to the final depth. This is followed by enlarging the diameter in ascending order using the pre-drill and the form drills up to the planned implant diameter. The form drills Cortical bone and taps are available for the optional use with bone qualities 1 or 2 (Lekholm & Zarb, 1985).
The reusable drills and taps have been developed especially for the gentle preparation of the implant bed. They are without internal irrigation and can therefore be prepared both easier and quicker, manually or machineassisted in the cleaning and disinfection device. The drills and taps can be used for implant bed preparation of the CAMLOG® and CONELOG® SCREW-LINE implants. Diameter- and length-standardized form drills are available for each implant size. The form drills are color-coded and laser-marked. A new four-cutter shape geometry ensures excellent cutting performance and produces coarse, vital bone chips. A corresponding color-coded depth stop is also available.
