The ball abutment is composed of a ball-shaped male part and a matrix CM Dalbo®-Plus (Cendres & Métaux SA, Biel, Switzerland). The retention strength of the matrix is adjustable in steps from “weak“ to “strong“ through the lamella retention insert. This makes the ball abutment eminently suitable for implant retained full dentures. If necessary, the lamella retention insert can be simply replaced by screwing out. The gingiva heights are 1.5 mm, 3.0 mm and 4.5 mm. The ball abutment is available in implant diameters 3.3, 3.8, 4.3 and 5.0 mm (Ball abutment diameter 3.3 mm only in gingiva heights of 1.5 and 3.0 mm).
