Establishment of the camlog foundation and academy
The newly founded camlog foundation was officially introduced for the first time during the CAMLOG Congress. Prof. Rolf Ewers, DDS, First President of the Foundation, called it “an investment of a very special kind“. The creation of the Foundation had not only the system user in mind but principally the patient who will be the ultimate beneficiary of the work of the Foundation.
The Foundation will fund gifted young scientists as well as research projects in the basic and applied sciences. In addition, the Foundation will promote further education and training as well as exchanges between universities and industry as part of its mission.
The camlog academy attached to the Foundation will permit all users to register and become part of the organization. The Academy is open to professionals in science, dentistry, oral surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery, medicine, and dental technology. The Academy should create the basis for an “international network“.
