CAMLOG® Implant System
The CAMLOG® implant system, first marketed in 1999, is the result of 30 years of experience of a team led by Dr Axel Kirsch and is characterized by a minimum of system components for the purpose of enabling simple and economic use.
The core element of the CAMLOG® Implant System is the patented “tube-in-tube“ design with the special CAMLOG cams ensuring an accurate, mechanically secure implant-to-abutment connection with anti-rotational stability. The resulting form closure provides highest application safety and exemplary reliability for excellent long-term results.
The CAMLOG® implant system is based on the “backward planning“ principle and with its four implant lines – SCREW-LINE, ROOT-LINE, CYLINDER-LINE and SCREW-CYLINDER-LINE – it is designed for the entire range of indications in implant dentistry.
Depending on the indication, implant healing takes place subgingivally or transgingivally: the system adapts to the clinician – not vice-versa.
The CAMLOG Foundation
The goal and purpose of the camlog foundation, founded in 2006 on the initiative of CAMLOG Biotechnologies AG and supported by the latter, is to generate and spread new knowledge in implant dentistry and adjacent fields.
Membership is free and is open to professionals in dentistry, maxillofacial surgery, medicine, and dental technology, who deal in detail with implantology and related fields and wish to draw on the latest research projects and results as well as use its international network as a resource.

Company Development
With its new production and sales branch in Wimsheim near Stuttgart opened in 2004 and its then approx. 120 employees, CAMLOG has established a solid foundation for future development.
