Market launch of the CAMLOG® Scanbody

For precision software-assisted design of individual abutments, crown and bridge frameworks on the CAMLOG® titanium base CAD/CAM, the CAMLOG® Scanbody is now available.

The CAMLOG® Scanbody made of durable PEEK has an implant connection with the proven reliable Tube-in-TubeTM implant/abutment connection. This ensures exact and quick positioning on the lab analogs even when reused several times. The unique detectable geometry (tested with 3Shape scanners; compatibility testing with other scan/CAD systems in the pipeline), minimum fabrication tolerances and the screw-retained application result in precision digital measurement of the position of the implant – including axial inclination and orientation of the grooves.

The new CAMLOG® Scanbody is available for all CAMLOG implant diameters, labeled accordingly and delivered non-sterile with a lab screw. It can currently be used with lab scanners and "open" installations of the CAD software AbutmentDesignerTM from 3Shape A/S (Copenhagen, DK).
