For once, the red carpet of the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès of Cannes was not rolled out for movie stars, but for the dental world. Under the title "Clinical Excellence, Risk Factors and Complications in Regenerative Dentistry", more than 3,000 dental experts from over 70 countries gathered in the magnificent coastal region on the Mediterranean. The ambitious symposium program was presented by more than 80 high-profile international speakers.
CAMLOG is now twice as good
CAMLOG participated as a Gold sponsor. Under the motto "CAMLOG is now twice as good", the expert audience was informed about both the CAMLOG® and the CONELOG® Implant Systems. Two practical workshops offered by CAMLOG aroused great interest.
Template-guided navigation
One of the workshops held in cooperation with Materialise shared the advantages of template-guided implantation with participants. Dr. Claudio Cacaci impressively demonstrated how the concept of "backwards planning" works and how case planning with various software and template systems works. In the practical part of the event, exercises in template-guided implant placement in the jaw model and planning using the Simplant® software were demonstrated and practiced.

In the second workshop, four international experts –
Dr. Karl-Ludwig Ackermann, Dr. Peter Randelzhofer, Prof. Mariano Sanz and Dr. Beat Wallkamm – put their "worst" cases up for discussion in detail. Course participants were invited to bring their own approaches to the discussion and to ask individual questions.
Simple and user-friendly
In addition, CAMLOG® implants were used in various practical workshops by Geistlich Biomaterials, where participants literally learned "hands on" how simple and user-friendly the CAMLOG® Implant System is to use.
